        INSTALLATION

Please follow the manual carefully and refer to the supplied diagrams when installing your Zooz switches. It's recommended that a licensed electrician performs the installation.

Check for neutral connections BEFORE you buy. A white wire from a 14-3 romex is usually NOT a neutral. Ask us if you're not sure what to look for, we'll be happy to help!

How to include the 800 Series S2 Dimmer to your smart home hub?

        1. Make sure the dimmer is located within range of your Z-Wave network
        2. Put your Z-Wave controller in inclusion/pairing mode
        3. Tap the upper paddle of the dimmer 3 times quickly to finalize the inclusion process
        4. A new dimmer switch will appear on your controller's device list

NOTE:  Follow an appropriate diagram from the manual to wire the dimmer in a 3-way or 4-way setting with a regular on/off electrical switch if you are looking to control one light with 2 or 3 switches. If you can't match your wiring with any of the diagrams, let us know and we'll walk you through the wiring process.

        It. Just. Works.

First time in years I've been happy with a light switch. 90% of the light switches I've tried end up disappointing me, usually related to features missing, paddle performance, or bulky. This switch seems to address all of it, very affordable, works well, really easy to install thanks to great documentation. In fact, I'm about to order a bunch more right now!

        Reliable, great Home Assistant support

Dimmers have been 100% reliable since installation. They have great Home Assistant support, including the ability to customize pretty much all of the switches behavior and button presses.

Best Z-wave dimmer switch out there

Zooz switches and dimmers are the best Z-Wave devices out there. They work well in many different configurations (including smart bulb controller), and are easy to set up. They provide detailed instructions that are truly dummy-proof. The best part about Zooz is their tech support team who will help if you run into any issues. They don't just respond with a canned answer, they actually take an interest in fixing the issue. I only buy from Zooz now.

Zooz and Z-wave JS is a tough combo to beat!

While my viewpoint is strictly residential, I have been using Z-wave devices for well over a decade now, and committed to Z-wave switches when automating our latest home.

I am using Home Assistant's Z-Wave JS UI add-on and wish I'd installed Zooz switches from the start. The two work really well together. Zooz switches generally are so good that they've motivated me to rip and replace over a dozen competing devices, and I now have dozens of Zooz switches deployed.

Their ability to help me manage a large (150 device) smart-bulb installation was what drew me to these products, but here and there I still need a dimmer switch for a dumb bulb that has no smart replacement. I am pleased to note that the ZEN77 is, if anything, even more flexible than the excellent ZEN76. I have experienced no device failures in over a year of working with Zooz products. I wish I could say that about the other guys. Also, I've gotten firmware updates for Zooz products, and have actually been able to deploy them OTA. For Z-wave, that is an astounding improvement.

Z-wave is still an imperfect beast, but I really do not think I could do better with a different product. If you're looking for a Z-wave dimmer and are happy with the user experience this kind of device offers (clean look-and-feel, hold-to-dim-or-brighten, no local level indicator), you can stop looking. Just buy the ZEN77.
